Best prgrams for YTPMV?
OH HAI GISE I JUST WANTED 2 B THE FIRST 2 MAIK A POST ON TIS FURM LOLOL
But seriously, some people use Adobe Premier, others use After Effects, and the smart ones use Sony Vegas.
I was wondering what program would be good for something, say, that has like a fast beat sorta' thing goin' on, and like, some really really deep base that requires LOADS of Pitchshifting. I am currently using Vegas 7 and I can't ever really get the timing or shifting correct. Is it me or does Vegas suck for this kinda' thing. Probably me but whatever.
I was trying to figure out the other day if there is a Configurative Plugin for Vegas 7 that allowed Automation timing on the Pitchshifting effect so we didn't have to build up separate tracks, or tune the pieces individually, and I came to realise that Premier has an automation-supporting pitch shifting effect, but then again Premier's Pitchshifting sucks apperantly. And i'm banned from the Adobe forums so I can't get help with that.
Is there any other programs like Melodyne or Audacity that people use, if so, because I've heard those few things mentioned allot of times over the internet.
Speh.

I use Vegas 7 and yeah...
What songs do you trying to make??
Use 8 Bit songs like MegaMan Mario Things like that are easier to make...
Also you can use sheet or Midi...
Notation Player works great.. (Using it on my Mario Paint vids)

Vegas sucks at efficient pitch shifting indeed.
It just sucks less than everything else.
Using Melodyne and Audacity would yield better-sounding results but it would take FOREVER and then you would have to sync it back up with the video. Not an option if you enjoy not being COMPUTER ZOMBIE 2009.

._. with Vegas 7? I've seen it done with 8 and 9 but i don't think anything lower can do that. If it could do that it wouldn't make much sense for it not to support Automation.

No you can do it in Vegas 7, you just need to right click the audio, properties, and uncheck Lock to stretch.
